Introduction: Gamification has emerged as an innovative educational strategy that enhances engagement and active learning in health education. When applied to first-aid teaching, it can improve knowledge retention and promote a culture of prevention among adolescents. Objective: To report nursing students’ experience in applying a gamified educational approach to teaching first aid to high school adolescents. Method: A descriptive experience report conducted in a public school in Guarulhos, São Paulo, involving 319 students aged 15 to 17 years. The intervention included a dialogued lecture, an interactive quiz, and a digital questionnaire using Google Forms. Results: The students demonstrated high participation, motivation, and improved understanding of emergency care, particularly in cardiac arrest, seizures, and airway obstruction scenarios. Conclusion: Gamification proved to be an effective, dynamic, and participatory strategy for first-aid education, fostering meaningful learning, engagement, and the development of preventive health behaviors among adolescents.
